The Justice League is a creation of DC Comics. It is also known as Justice League of America, and for the die hard fans, simply JLA. The Justice League is made up of some of DC Comics most popular superheros, like Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.
The cast of superheroes was later expanded to included such characters as Atom, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Green Arrow, Red Tornado and Zatanna – the Elongated Man.
The Justice League got its start when DC Comics first published the team in October of 1960. Of course, these comics were the basis for many a TV show, animated features, and of course, full-length movies. The Batman series alone is a franchise that has stood the test of time and continues to draw fans every time it is introduced to another generation.
Because of their immense popularity, the Justice League has also spawned an entire industry of costumes.
